First off, I'd like to thank all of you who have called and called back, my phone says that my voice mail is full, yet I cannot check it, so that means that I cannot clear it out.  So, please feel free to send me an email or keep calling like my kids do :)  Thanks!!

Wow, super busy Summertime!  We are excited for some up and coming Puppies this Fall so feel free to call me or Melissa.  

Thank you also for all the wonderful photos and letters you have sent us!!!  LOVE them!  I'm looking forward to  adding them to our website, I usually wait until winter, like when it's negative 20 degrees, so I have something to do!  So watch for that in the next couple of months.

Hello Everyone!

Hello Everyone!

Wow, it's been awhile since my last "post" but I have been emailing and in contact throughout the month more one on one.  

It has been a busy couple of months, but really looking forward to May :) I love the Springtime!  It is so much fun to work and train outside, water work is amazing at both our Montana and Sutter Facility, lots of really good ground work gets done with our training dogs.  It's AWESOME!  Also going on this Spring are the Blacks, Yellows, and Chocolates all planned to be bred in May!  Of course our Chesapeake litter now is so nice, love the colors!

Another reason for not updating a ton is that my Dell computer had a problem..."OLOD"  I don't know if any of you have ever experienced the "Orange Light of Death", but I did!  Basically the computer will NOT turn on, at all...keeping all of our wonderful photos and carefully collected pedigrees trapped inside...it wasn't pretty.  Thank goodness it was just the power box within the computer and I was able to take it in to "The Computer Guy" in Dillon (that was a grateful shout-out right then).  He replaced the part and here I am again :)  Thanks Greg!  So, that was my warning to back-up my work...don't we all need ONE of those wake calls?  I'm thinking zip drive or cloud--let me know your thoughts!

It's always so wonderful hearing from you!  Had a call from a client from 1994--anyone else recall the Tao and Chelsea litter?  Another one is from 2001 Gator and Nellie or Kara and Magnum--Memories! It's been so good visiting with our clients!

Hello Everyone, February has been an eventful month for all of us here at Dustin Retrievers!  

We've been having a blast with our new little Chesapeake Bay Retriever puppies, I call them "little potatoes with legs"--these are really cute potatoes!! 

At our California Facility Becky had her sweet puppies, I call those "Twinkies with legs", Melissa and Bryan know every little detail about each and every one of them, it so cute!  I can call her at a moments notice and she can tell me all about them!  

Now, as you can see by the above photo, you know why I have been a bit behind on my emails and calls--so sorry, thought I could run our business and help with a wedding at the same time, boy was I wrong!  I am happy to say it was a WONDERFUL day and we are incredibly happy to welcome our new son-in-law Casey to our Family.  

I will be working hard this week to get our website caught up and hopefully answering everyone's emails and returning calls!  Feel free to call me back if I don't get back to you--we were in some statically spots and I have a few "bits and pieces" type of messages, I would love to talk with all of you!

Also, look forward to some Trained Dogs in our updates, we have been working on that as well!

Hello, Hello!

We are so excited to continue to update and improve our website!  I thought I would really miss the old one of so many years...and I must say I do miss those older letters and photos, that is for sure--but we are really enjoying updating this one, it just takes time :/  I do have so many more fun/funny photos and sweet letters I can't wait to put on, (thank you for sending them to us!)  Also exciting news is that we are, trying to attempt to put video on our website, so far it has not been as easy as it sounds, but we're still trying, I think it would make it great fun for everyone to see our wonderful dogs and puppies in action!  Hope your month is going GREAT!  Many more to come on our website, constantly updating is please check back often!

Hello All,

This has been a very busy and exciting week--we went to our CA facility and had a great quick visit...had to hurry back because of the weather.  But it was so nice to see several wonderful, past clients and some new clients as well!  Always so great to see Melissa and how hard her and her sweet family work out there.  

Some REALLY exciting news for our family is that our oldest, Sheri and her husband Steve, had a little baby boy (their third boy!) on the 20th of Dec in Idaho.  We had the honor of being there and meeting our newest grandson:  Samuel Dustin Wight.  Our hearts are full and we feel so blessed that mother and baby are doing well.

This time of year is always a special time, but having such a sacred event to happen makes it that much more special.

We hope you are all well during this time of year and wishing you the warmest and fondest blessing for the new year.

To me, Boarding is a selfish thing, that is why we offer it at such a GREAT PRICE!  Melissa and I are selfish when it comes to this because we want to see how your puppies/dogs are doing!  It's so fun to see our clients again and how the dogs have grown--It's my FAVORITE thing!  

We are also excited to invite NEW clients into our Dustin Retriever Family and be able to visit with you too time and time again :)  So forgive us for being selfish and wanting to hang out with your dogs, but we can't help it!
